ABÉLIA NORDMANN

Abélia Nordmann directs choirs, ensembles and productions in Basel and in Switzerland's neighboring countries. She is the conductor of the trinational ensemble Choeur3, the young vocal and instrumental ensemble collective novantik , the contrapunkt chor , the project choir ensemble liberté  and the children's and youth choir Lörrach  and the initiator of the singing activists FIMMENE! . With TRËI (Nordmann, Simsek, Miribung) she realizes music and theater educational projects and incidental music. Her compositions have been sung by children's and adult choirs since 2007.

Abélia Nordmann has been part of the artistic advisory board of the European Youth Choir Festival Basel since 2016 and a member of the Baselland Cultural Council since 2018.

Abélia Nordmann worked as a pianist and music teacher in Munich until 2008 and completed her Specialized Masters in choral conducting at the Basel University of Music in 2013.

The ideas house L'ARCADE has been growing in south-west France since 2016 .

MARA MIRIBUNG

Born and bred in the midst of the beautiful Italian Alps, Mara Miribung studied music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Specialized in Historically Informed Performance Practice at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, studying baroque Cello and Historical Improvisation. 


A passionate chamber musician, she has given concerts with many international ensembles all over Europe, South America and Asia. In addition, she has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including Kammerorchester Basel, Balthasar Neumann Ensemble, Camerata Variabile, Geneva Camerata, Lautten  Compagney Berlin.

In 2018 she performed as a soloist with the Geneva Camerata in Basel, Hong Kong and Seoul. From 2015 to 2017 she was a guest lecturer for the early music department of the Universidad Central in Bogotá, Colombia.
